Although I have a fairly good bodice now,since gaining a few pounds minimum of course, I find that my across chest is a wee bit tight! by aprox 1/4",should I just add to the chart that extra, and if so will it throw out myother measurements?TIA

I would add the 1/4 inch if you need it.
