Good morning,

I'm working with satin fabric and I needed to mark where the pins were, I used a mark be gone pen which can be removed with cold water. It worked the mark was gone but I was left with the water mark.

I tried using a chalk that goes away with steam, no no that did not work. Can you suggest what I can use to remove the markings without damaging the fabric?

This wont remove the marks but I keep a spool of very fine red silk thread on hand for hand basting marks and use a very fine needle to stitch my tacks and basting stitches in fabrics like satin. No knots, just a simple back stitch that pulls out easily.
