There is an old program "Pattern Maker Software on my computer and since I had to reinstall DressShop all my saved patterns have been highjacked into Pattern Maker. How can I get these back? Thanks for any help you can give me | |||

Hi, You don't have to worry about the patterns being 'hijacked'. Windows allows programs to register for the extension (in this case .pat) of a file. Pattern Maker has registered for the .pat extension but that's OK 'cause we don't care about that. You can't open any of our pattern files directly (like double clicking them). Most likely Pattern Maker won't care about this and we don't so you should be fine. If you really want to get rid of this, you have to do this though File Explorer->Tools->File Options->File Types Hope this answers you questions!
