Hi, I just upgraded to 8 which was a mistake because my activations show I already own it. @ orders went out.

But, downloading it and trying to open it I get a blank screen with an error Project1has encountered problem.

I didn't want to bring my problems to the board, but can't find an e-mail to send my problems to.

So, short, DS 8 reload gives me error (computer crash and complete redo including new install of windows xp, yes I did turn Anti Virus off to load. Using Kapersky)

Second 2 orders in diff amounts went out to purchase DS8 upgrade that need to be cancelled.

Am on digest, trying to figure out how to change that.

How very odd since we have already received and replied to 5 emails from you this morning regarding this matter. As those explained, there were not multiple purchases, you do not already own Dress Shop 8, your installation issue is because of a corrupted system registry on your computer, and your orders have been reversed as your final email requested.

It was your first note that stated emphatically that you were very stressed and on a tight time-table. That may well be true, but I believe you can only make yourself more stressed if you cannot wait an hour for a reply to your emails before you send 4 more, then post to the forums.

You need to try to calm down a bit and try for a bit of patience.

My server was having problems yesterday and some posts were going out, some were. Some that were going out took up to 4 hours to come through. I apologize for being so much trouble to staff. Kaaren, thank you very much for your kind replys.

DS8 DID in fact ultimately load on my computer by the end of the evening. I'm not a computer whiz and when I have problems I ask for help. That was my mistake. I had no idea that what I thought were private posts would end up on the board. The exception being the one I did, in fact, send to the board. Again sincere and grateful thanks to Kaaren and to Ann. I appreciate your patience with me.

For the record, avoid brain surgeries whenever possible... They make life incredibly difficult. I'll do my best not to bother tech folks in the future.
