Elaine Leskonew computer: finding measurements
I had purchased a computer with Vista. Buying a new scanner and printer because my old ones wouldn't work with Vista was one thing. But when it wouldn't work with my sewing machines that was another. I had my old files archived to a disc from my old XP computer but I can't seam to find my measurements file. Any one have any hints?

Kaaren HobackVista encourages you to run in "user account mode" which hides your files so you don't inadvertantly mess things up.
First sign in as adminstrator- second delete user account files on the control panel and always run as admin.
Now you can find your files in the appropritae places.
After downloading the latest DS program from the website ( full build) make sure to go to file>settings> and set preferences
File > page set up
and Help> on the web> Retrieve my codes.
Then sneaker net ( move from your thumb drive) the My Measurement files into the new location which should be
