I just transferred dress shop to a new computer and was on the website. Checking my passwords. I still have a password for MPD, but can’t find anywhere to download it. Is it still available? Thank you. Nora

Dress Shop is now a separate company from My Pattern Designer.
I am with Dress Shop. MPD ceased operation a couple of years ago.
I _think_ you are looking to download MPD? I don't know anything about that but perhaps others here can help.

There are a couple of places that report they have the MPD download like the one below, but I suspect they too are now defunct. If you haven't got some of your original registration files backed up to insert into the appropriate folders, there is little point as you would most likely only be able to look at patterns or print in 1/4 scale, or print full scale test fit patterns. The online registration and anything related to MPD is defunct. Craig did keep his side for a while, but it was costing him, if you can see the notes in FB. Before it was let go. The drafting end result in everything I looked at was so close to DS that it doesn't matter, unless you had patterns in MPD that aren't in DS, or DS Bob had removed as too hard to code for fit, an unfortunate occurrence for patterns I like. I do find that MPD has gotten more buggy on patterns the longer it goes since dumping, which might be due to my Earth Goddess shape.

I own both Dress Shop and My Pattern Designer, purchased DS originally back in 2003 and then MPD in 2006 and several upgrades over the years. When I purchased MPD I was told it was an add-on to DS and it seemed like several options were interchangeable between the two programs. I haven't used the software in a long time but I was just using the MPS program and was going to use some of my pattern credits and it didn't work. I see by this post that MPD is defunct? I'm surprised that some type of notification wasn't sent out letting us know. I have several unused pattern credits that I had purchased which now obviously are useless. IS DS still active? I am trying to find how to contact someone at DS to see what the current status of the program is and the current version (I have DS 9 Pro).

I am with Dress Shop. I'm afraid I don't know anything about MPD and therefore won't be able to respond to questions about MPD.

I understand the MPD server and Web site has been taken down. There were some discussions on the Dress Shop forums about that. Here are a few threads on the forums on how to get your MPD on your new computer which may or may not be helpful:

Dress Shop is still being offered and supported. Your Dress Shop 9 should still function normally on all supported Windows OS's.
