I have lots of Dress Shop add-ons and on my laptop I have version 6.19. For the life of me I can't get Dress Shop installed on my new desktop. I am wanting to upgrade to the new Dress Shop 8, but need to get my current version working first. Judith Nelson

Your new desktop is probably either Win Vista or Win 7 and you MUST be downloading/installing in administrator mode NOT a user account mode which has limitations of whats allowed to be installed- files get hidden and the program wont function.

Go to control panel, user accounts and turn em off.

sign in as administrator
turn off your firewall and your anti virus program
install the program
set your preferences
retrieve your codes
and set your page set up.
IF you are installing DS8 you do NOT need to install DS6 first- your account will activate all prior owned collections when you retrieve codes.
