We have been unable to access the Club. We have been on there before and have a login name and password We get nothing but a blank page. I tried to sign in as a new user. Quiltropolis says that I must download a plugin [Java].. I started to do that but it will take 6 1/2 hours to do it. I have dial up Any suggestions will be appreciated TIA

The "club site" has ALWAYS required java.

Before downloading again may I suggest you
1 open IE
2 go to tools
3 internet options
4 scroll down and make sure JAVA is enabled.

you must be using IE or netscape not another browser for best connection.

I do have Java installed and have had for a long time. version 1.4.2-04 I have no trouble getting to the chat room, but I cannot get to the club forum. I have a shortcut to the site that I was using. It didnt work. I tried typing in the address and that didnt work. I went back into messages and got the address again from one of your letters. That still didnt work I have both Netscape and Internet Explorer. I have all the required systems and I still cant get it to work We used to get the forum all the time. We have a user name and also a password. We just havent been able to get in since you changed to My Patterns
We hope that we can solve this problem becasuse we want to view the photos and keep up with the information

Good mornign, To get to club the following steps need to be taken
go to quiltropolis.com
enter or apply for a password
click clubs
click sewing
click my patterns

if you do not have a current membership apply for membership left side
membership requires being a DS owner

you may ask that your log in be remembered
you may bookmark the site to hasten the sign in

If you are already a member please advise what name you are using in Club so I can make sure its active.

I took the steps required to move membership from the old name to the new name... to my knowledge no members were dropped.

I don't find a "PCharles" as member so please advise nickname and email addy in a private email if you like so I can run it down.

Worst case scenario is you need to apply again making sure in the comments box you tell me the email name you are registered under .

I will be off line for some hours today as one of the sons is in town for a meeting and has some spare time .

I've been away and not sewing for a long time. Now I want to get inspired by looking at what everyone else has made. When I go to Quiltopolis.com I can't find a place to "enter". Or clubs. Where is it?

Go to quiltropolis
on the left hand side is a menu including discussion lists etc and the word clubs.

click on club
then a frame opens on the right - the word sewing is a link, click sewing,
then up pops My Patterns click there......log in and create a password which will be sent by autoresponder.

Once you have the password email, come back again and enter the club area.

on the left hand side find apply for membership
click that and fill in a comment in the box with your full name and or email address you are registered as a DS owner with.

Ill approve the application when i get it in que the next time I sign on.

all that only needs to be done once! bookmark the site and make sure to click remember my password.
