Can anyone help me? I need to make a simple pull over top with a front yoke in t shirt fabric for my pregnant daughter. Do I just try putting in her measurements and will the software work? Any other tips would be gratefully recieved.

Yes- her measurements will work-

Depends what version fo DS you are using how much design work you can create- you may also select any empire top use the empire tool to modify to a specific design spec you want.You can keep the back trim by adding additional fabric to gather in the front after printing the back,and sleeves then add 4-5 inches in front only.. keeps the back trim without a tremendous amount of blousing yet is comfortable in front.

Of course you can just add fabric to gather in the empire tool.This will distribute the extra to both front and back.
