I have been recently exploring both the MPD and the DS programs.
In the DS Demo, DS has three measurements types:
the standard sizes ,
the measurement wizard and
My Complete Chart.
In My Complete Chart, one can enter 57 different measurements.

Q.1
Are ALL THREE types of measurements accessible in DS STANDARD?

On the other hand, in the Demo for MPD, I saw only the Standard Sizes and the Measurement Wizard displayed, but NOT My Complete Chart where one can enter all 57 measurements.

Q.2 Does that mean that MPD STANDARD does NOT allow one to refine the measurements by entering all 57 measurements? Is that reserved to the PRO version only?

MPD Standard does not offer the complete 57 measurement chart. That was done for many reasons, but possibly one of the most important was the presumption by most new users that they should start there. It can sometimes be difficult to get all 57 just right and the process can be frustrating to some. And, the measurement wizard has gotten good enough over the years that it produces a better chart in many cases than hand measuring does. So, MPD strongly encourages new users to start with the wizard and only go to the full chart when they have proven they need only a minor adjustment in some specific area.

But, if you do believe that you must have the full 57 measurement chart and if you are convinced that taking the longer time to work with that is desirable, then Dress Shop Standard is your cheaper starting place.
