It's what is not announced that creates the frustration. We take the update to fix the list of known bugs.

And the updates are a point of no return. Don't try to uninstall it so you can go back to your previous version because you have found that you prefer the old bug to the new one ... or you want to go back and draft certain patterns and then reload the patch to draft others ...

There is no undo or uninstall option for any single update. You are where you are and you're there until the next update comes along.

So Bob -- we're on your side every time you announce an update. We take it because you've told us you've fixed things and now we think we can use our program with confidence. However, it is the fact that we've given you our confidence that creates the problems when the program again disappoints us.

I like analogies -- it's like trying to get from California to New York. The first plane gets you as far as Dallas but you miss your connection. So you take a bus to Chicago. Then in Chicago you can get a train to Tenneessee. Here you rent a car but get turned around and head for Oklahoma. etc .....

Yes, we're making some progress and getting somewhere but not New York which was our original destination. And it's taking a lot longer than anticipated to make the trip.

Every update makes some progress but creates new detours and roadblocks ... and frustrated travelers.
