So..when measuring men.. the crotch area.. is it all the way up? My daughter brought this up to me and I searched throughout the manual and can not find any hints on measuring men for pants.. I am assuming the same as women but then allowances are given for extra room in that area?

The tape should be placed firmly to the body without making an impression. Extra ease is allowed for comfort where needed when the chart is labeled as a "men's" chart and the pattern is selected from Mens wear.
