I'd like to hear from anyone, privately if you want, who has had success with creating good-fitting slopers for someone with pronounced spine curvature. We have two different measurement charts, one for left and one for right sides. I'm having a difficult time getting the center back seams to be the same length, even though the full length and center length measurements are the same. The lady's neckpoints are different heights; could this be the cause? Many, many thanks for any help! Barb Levy

Two chart are always cvery difficult to blend at center. IF there is any way to compromise and average the two charts into One..do IT! Otherwise you will have to do a pencil merge.and in effect are highlighting the asymmetry rather than hiding it. IF its the spine- use a center back dart and if its a pad of flesh high on the back use shoudler darts..redraw the darts so one is near non existent and one is slightly larger. Two charts have only been required in about 6-8 cases in the years Ive been doing this since 1995 ..including for disabled folks..... measure the longer- use varying shoulder pads, center back darts, shouulder darts and various stays in construction..... and semi fitted ease goes a logn way to trompe l'oiel... fooling the eye. A chart is going to balance for a complete half.chances are the asymmetry is not at the midway point.now your skunked.... Kaaren patrns4u@aol.com
