Using DS, I am trying to draft pleated semi-fitted pants. Set sa to zero, but entire waist seamline does not print. I know it will not print across tops of darts and pleats but shouldn't the rest of it print correctly? It's missing sl between pleat and dart and about 1" on other side of dart. Turned off ref lines/amts in case that was interfering. No go. Any ideas? Jean

Turnign off seam allowancves turns off all seam allowances. Only stitch lines appear not cut lines anywhere. Kaaren patrns4u@aol.com

Clicked post too soon by accident...always Always, always fold out darts,& pleats as they will be stitched on the pattern before cutting away excess paper, clip with small binder clips- true waist stitch then cut lines. You will get a smooth nice waist curve this way without any excess dart cap ( the triangle thingey). Normally pant darts, pleats fold towards center on pants unless you have a big round tummy then you might find that folding towards outseam presents a nicer shape. Kaaren patrns4u@aol.com

So you are saying the program may not print all of a stitch line and I must draw it in myself? Jean

If there are lines that appear when seam allowances are set that you want to see and yet you do not wish any actual seam allowance, you can try setting the seam allowance to 1/24th of an inch. With that, both the blue seam lines and the black cut lines will be drawn, but the extra fabric provided by the seam allowance will be negligibly small. Just a thought...
