<Colleen>Men's patterns and fitting.

I'm ready to measure my DH for pants and tops, but I have some questions. He's not very patient with standing still. What measurement set would be best for a sway back, large bay window in front, small shoulders, very tilted waist which he thinks should fit as a parallel to the floor waist, man of 71 years who is definitely into comfort?
I know this is a big challenge and I am on my own for measurements.
Secondly, I downloaded the Men's Collection when it came out recently, but since then I've seen some indications that the collection has changed. What would you recommend? The first download had few patterns featured on Marc.
Thank you,
Colleen

Dress ShopHi I must have missed this post.sorry in the delay in answering.
The original men's patterns came out in a series of pattern sets, the latest release was a full collection with new parameters and we even spiffed up the old patterns.
We have not changed anything within the collections since the release.
The collection itself is quite large but I think what you may have experieinced is which chart you have up when viewing the pattern.
You can elect to have a mans chart and mens pattern and see Marc.but if you have a womans chart and a mans pattern you MAY have a womans Mia art. Theres a button under the model to click between mans and womans.
The code changes!!!!!!!!!!! from a man's draft to a womans draft so think twice before clicking just to change art.
Man's patterns have a bigger shoulder extension, wider, and deeper necklines and a bit more ease......they also dont have side darts ever.
Pants have a bigger difference yet.with a deeper crotch depth and changes to the crotch split.
When the collection is activated you can select a womans fitted pant and get the typical ladies draft, click man under the model get Mark and a very different looking/fitting pant!
