I want to upgrade my DS7 to DS8. I have downloaded and installed DS8, but when I go to puchase it I get the full price option on my cart even though I am logged in. Judith Nelson

Hello Judith,

It is important, when you log in at the Livingsoft web site, that you use the same email address that was used when you created your Livingsoft customer account. You currently have 3 accounts, most likely because you have created new accounts each time your email address changed. Unfortunately, those new accounts do not own anything. Rather than creating a new account, you MUST log in to your old account, the one that owns stuff, and change the email address there to whatever you currently use.

I am deleting the two accounts that you have created using "verizon.net" email addresses. Those accounts own nothing.

To get to what you own, you must log in using your "charter.net" email address, even if you no longer use that one for email. It is how your Livingsoft customer account is identified, so enter that address. Once you have logged in, you can change that email address to a more current one if you wish.

In any case, that customer account is where you own products, so that is the account that will provide you a discount for purchasing Dress Shop 8.

Okay, so what I thought was my charter password doesn't work and now my password is being sent to charter email address. Now what. Charter never owned anything, I do. Judith Nelson

I never suggested that charter owned anything, just that your customer account is identified with your old charter.net email address. It will continue to be identified by that email address until you change it.

I will send your password to your various verison.net email addresses so you can log into your Livingsoft customer account and change the old email address.
