I have never had a f3 or b3 on my crotch tool. I am now hearing that I should adjust f3 or b3 so I am wondering if this is something I should report. Also where and how do I get f3 and b3?
Thanks.

In the crotch tool, there used to be labeled drag points at the crotch tip (f3 and b3). These would allow you to drag the tip anywhere you wanted, altering crotch extensions and inseam amount.

These were dropped (as drag points) not too long ago for two reasons:

1. Changing inseam using these was confusing people as it did not change the inseam measurment. Which got used? Confusing.

2. For crotch extension settings, the drag points were not accurate enough. It was too hard to get the tips to the precise amount you needed.

So, for both of these values, Dress Shop now uses entry boxes that you can fine tune to a 16th of an inch. Use Inseam in your Size menu - Enter / Change all measuremnts. Or, enter crotch extension amounts in the Crotch Tool.

That was probably what was meant by whoever suggested the f3/b3 adjustments.

Hope that helps...
