Hi...I'm using the casual blouse fit garment and I've finally got a pretty good fit for the shoulders and back. The side seams are straight and correctly placed, and the shoulder seams are in the right spot. The front and back necklines are good. The issue right now is that I need to have about 2.5 inches more center front, particularly across the bust (that's the biggest gap). I added the 2.5 inches to the bust front measurement, but it really didn't seem to add anything--just a very small dart. Before adding the 2.5 inches, there was no dart (which fit fine except for front gap). The dart doesn't seem to have made any difference in the gap between the center fronts. What measurement do I add to to get the extra fabric on the center fronts? I don't want to have anything else changed! Thanks! adding to bust front adds to total width at bust level. Please send in a problem report- and in comments make sure to note where exactly it is too tight. Kaaren patrns4u@aol.com | ||||
