I have dress shop 6 and when I downloaded dress shop 8, i can not open it, I get an error message that the pogram is not responding. I have uninstalled and installed it again with no luck.

1. You did get the full Dress Shop 8, not the update, right?

2. Turned off the virus scanner? Sometimes those can interfere.

3. Are you running WinXP, Vista, or Windows 7. Each could have different issues with administrator priveleges and sysstem security hassles.

4. If not any of those, then I would suspect a corrupted download. Find and delete it, then try to get a fresh download. If the download takes less than 2 seconds, then it did not really download. Windows may have found a shadow copy in some downloads folder and just given you a fresh copy of that. That's not good. You would have to find and delete that shadow copy. Or, when downloading, change the save to name. Sometimes that works. In any case, the download should take more than 2 seconds.
