Barb, after the porn popup came up and I was finally able to see her work, I was impressed, but I will not go back to or recommend that site because of the porn popup that accompanies it. I hope I am the only one who had to suffer through the assault.

Kelly, I have often been to Mamafitzz' website and never had a porn pop-up (thank goodness!) Mamafitzz Linda would be horrified to know that. She seems such a sweet caring person from all her writings on various lists.

I also hope it was only some unfortunate combination on your system which caused it. Sorry you got it. (Yech!)

I would definitely send her an email letting her know what you got. She could have been hacked and would not even know it. This is what it sounds like to me.
Personally, I have pop-up blocker, and others may not get the pop-up photos if they had the same thing activated on their computers.

If you all look, you will see she is hosted by Tripod. It wouldn't necessarily be a hack to her site, but just a general problem with Tripod and auto-links. In additions, pop-ups such as these could have come with the installation of some other program installed from a questionable source.

At the very least, you might want to get a pop-up blocker. Google's toolbar has one and there are several other free ones out there, as well. Personally, I don't use IE for anything but running Dress Shop. I use Firefox with a Java blocker and never see pop-ups unless I choose to.
