Oh Lord- you want the entire book?
collars backwards,I once pinned one into an armhole instead of neck- found that before stitching! Every time I work too long-too rushed, when tired did something screw ballish.

Thats why my seam ripper is still my best friend in the sewing room. We all do it once in a while.

I am a specialist in cutting two sleeves exactely the same shape. When I try to attach them, of course one should be symmetrical to the other... For this reason I always buy extra fabric, and usually the seller looks at me with a strange expression as telling: "if you want to sew a blouse you don't need that much fabric"... My problem is not that I'm stressed, but I work in a hurry too because my free time is short and I want so much to finish the garments. I definitely need to win the lottery to buy some time.

Ahhhhhh sleeves to insert appropriatly Smiler i use painters tape to mark the sleeves to go in,put the tape on the wrong side of the sleeve, its so easy to mix them up for sewing a seam.Dolors we all wish for the lottery don't we,we can hire maids to do the household chores, then we have more sewing time Grins.Llant

Hello! Just last week I serged my 2 pants fronts together - and my 2 pants backs. Needless to say, that didn't work out too well! Picking out the serged stitches wasn't much fun, but when the pants were completed - the right way - they turned out really nice!

I love hearing funny stories like these!
