Friends, what exciting times for users and would-be users of pattern-design software! We have not one but two new programs (DressShop 8.0 and My Pattern Designer 2.5) to explore...and Marj is valiantly trying to get the information linked from the laptop to the new 46" TV screen so we can all watch easily. The Custom-fit Software SIG of Philadelphia ASG will meet this coming Tuesday in St. Davids from about 10:30 a.m. till about 3:30 p.m.

In addition to lots of playing with the software directly, we'll have show & tell: do you have a project in mind or a garment in production? need your measurements "tweaked?" want your sloper critiqued? Here are "sewing friends" who'll be happy to help.

As usual, we'll go to Minella's Diner for lunch (think quiche!). All are welcome, whether or not you use or own pattern-drafting software. For directions to the meeting - either driving or walking a block from the SEPTA R5, send an email to marjjensen@aol.com .
