Friends, we're going to be blessed with a flying visit from Selma Whitaker, our favorite custom-fit software guru, at our regular meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from about 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in St. Davids. Fresh from moving into her new home in Virginia, Selma returns briefly to help us use the software more easily to meet our fitting challenges.

Fashion for fall seem to be more fitted than in recent years: how can DS/MPD help you update your wardrobe? Are you changing in size so you need to know how (and when) to adjust measurements? If you're sewing for others who live "away," how does using DS/MPD make your work easier? Right here at home, do you have a sloper or "wearable muslin" to be fitted and/or critiqued? This user group specializes in problem-solving!

For at least the fall months (Sept. - Dec.), we'll probably go back to meeting on the second Tuesday of the month. Can planning ahead for Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, and Dec. 12 make it easier for you to get to meetings? (These dates are tentative until after the meeting next week.)
