Have you been working on a top - any kind of blouse, shirt, jersey, camisole, nightshirt, or whatever (even the top of a new sloper!)? Whether or not, please come to the Custom-fit Software SIG of Phila. ASG meeting in St. Davids on Tuesday, April 13. From about 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., we'll admire, critique, pin-fit, or otherwise encourage one another's efforts to use pattern-drafting software to make a late-winter or spring top that fits into your wardrobe and/or uses a piece of fabric from your stash. Featured handout: Selma was kind enough to send a copy of Kaaren Hoback's tips and tricks from her on-line class a week ago. We'll have enough copies so you can take home your own. As usual, we'll head for a local diner for lunch (great quiche!). In the area of future planning, Phyllis Patukas has offered a program on choosing necklines; we'll consider how (and when) to combine her generous offer with matching information on how to create the chosen lines using software. Whether or not you own pattern-drafting software, lurk in the discussions and wonder about it, or simply want to "talk sewing" with friends, please join us in St. Davids on Tuesday, April 13. The meeting is accessible by car or the R5 SEPTA train; email for further directions. Marj in Southeastern PA DS Pro everything MPD Pro current | |||
