Friends, it's "blouse/tee-shirt/sloper top/jacket" time: make or buy one any way you choose - from software drafting to "big 4" pattern to ready-to-wear - and bring it to the next meeting of the Custom-fit Software SIG of Phila. ASG on Tuesday, September 11, from about 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in St. Davids. Bring a top that fits or one that you'd like to duplicate or one that just represents wishful thinking. We'll try on the tops, highlight what's good/bad/indifferent, and explore how to use pattern-drafting software to make real, positive differences in your wardrobe.

Current in-progress projects and plans will also be objects for "show and tell." Do you have an up-coming event that represents a challenge? or a piece of fabric that's calling out from your stash? We'll check measurements as needed and continue to see how pattern-drafting software can handle all sorts of fitting challenges. As usual, we'll head off to a local diner for lunch and more good conversation on all sewing topics.

All are welcome, whether or not you use or own pattern-drafting software. For directions to these meetings - either driving or walking from the SEPTA R5, send an email to marjjensen@aol.com .

P.S.: Please set aside Sunday afternoon, October 14, (1:30-4:30 p.m.) for a special C-fS meeting: Do you know people who are tired of altering patterns to fit? tired of combining patterns to get wanted styles? tired of envisioning stylelines no commercial company has seen? Encourage them to come and learn about another way.
