On WEDNESDAY, Dec. 12, from about 10:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m., the Custom-fit Software SIG of Philadelphia ASG will meet in St. Davids. To set the scene: It’s the holidays, you’ve received a coveted invitation to a dressy party, you have black velvet/brocade/chiffon pants or skirt (your choice!), and you’re going to make a top that fits your taste. Choose the style and the fabric and plan your pattern drafting. Then, come and share with us all how you’d sew for this holiday dream!

We’ll have “show & tell” as a big part of the meeting. At least one has a new sloper, another has drafted pants that fit, and another is using Hat Shop software to make fleece caps for grandchildren. What sewing are you doing for yourself and for others? Need fitting? advice? encouragement?

If you choose, bring some holiday cookies to trade. Brenda’s bringing her to-die-for Kugel! We’ll go to a local diner for lunch.

All are welcome - whether you use some version of pattern-drafting software, look longingly at the demo version on your computer or on-line, or just want to “talk sewing.” If you need direction by car or by the R5 SEPTA route, you have only to ask. RSVP for numbers, please.
