My Pattern Designer has just released MPD 2.5, an upgrade that radically improves the way all MPD pants are drafted. Fit is better and patterns are more balanced. This upgrade has been in work for 10 months now and we are delighted to finally be able to show it off.

Included with the upgrade is limited access to The Complete Pants Designer Tool. This tool includes new pants fit settings, options, and accessories, revised waist levels, waistbands, and pockets. The tool comes with 5 patterns for those purchasing just MPD 2.5 so you can try out the new features.

For an additional $69, you can purchase the entire tool, which includes over 50 additional new foundation patterns, including active-wear, casual pants, career or dress pants, jeans, shorts, and work pants. Also, the tool's enhancements, options, settings, and accessories will now work with any other MPD pants you already own. Owners of The Jeans Machine will get the remainder of The Complete Pants Designer free when they upgrade to MPD 2.5.

The changes to pants design, drafting, options and accessories are not available to MPD 1 owners. You will need to purchase an upgrade to take advantage of these changes.

I am so excited about this fantastic upgrade to MPD V2.5 and the new Pants Designer. For those users that have been with us for eons- you know that is nothing new as we always continually strive to improve and add to our patterns, style lines and fit.

We have been working on this project since last Spring! We have used the most effective and automated pattern drafting code for your unique body size and shape that we could dream up.

There is so much that is new in The Pant Designer that you just have to see it in person.
You do need to upgrade to get the Pant Designer. There is an article in the Help field on how to use the tool along with great visuals of what each pant type, leg, waistline setting looks like to make your choices a little easier. The tool is all in one spot with expandable menus and very user friendly there are many new choices as to waist level, waistbands and new pockets, stirrups, gussets and more.

The programmers and testers went 10 extra miles on this one. Take a look- it is sure to amaze you!

I just emailed Bob this, but when I click on the upgrade link it's dropping the whole Pro package into my cart instead of the upgrade. Got any ideas? I'm signed in, the husband is out of town....I want to play!

I'm usually a lurker, but I have to jump in here. As one of the testers, I can't speak highly enough about the new Pant Designer. The testing was long and, at times, difficult, but the end result was worth it all.

To put it in one word,WOW! You really should take a look at this new tool. I think you will be amazed at how much it will do - styles, options, even better fit. And it is easy to use.

IMO this is one of the best add-ons that has been released.

sign into your account first then click the tab on the roht that says upgrades. Once it sees your registration information for the program you have it will discount the price!

Nope, after I sign in, it knows it is me, but when I click the upgrade button to add it my cart, it's $499. The 'what I own page' is correct, with MPD Pro 2.02.

The web store does not appear to be giving the proper discount. I have an urgent call in to the programmer that handles the web store and will let you know when he has that corrected....
