At the request of the customer that reported the last item listed, a new patch file for build 1.04 has been posted. You can get this patch file here:

The changes included in this patch file are listed below. In general, you should only take patch files if one of the items listed is important to you or has been hindering your work. All of these changes will be included in the next update as well.


========== Beginning 1.04 - patch 4 changes (released on July 31, 2006) ==========================================

1. How to make a cowl neck article was missing the cowl and stay picture.

2. Skirt article had a link to the blouse yoke article. Replaced it with the new skirt yoke article.

3. Jacket with basic collar was missing a line feed before "SLEEVES".

4. Waist level welt pockets (selected from the cargo pocket list) were linked to the patch pocket article, not the welt pocket article.

5. Got in detail articles and links for yokes in pants.

6. Reworded the prompts / labels for all pocket types in the Extras dialog. Hopefully these will be clearer. Also made the Extras dialog slightly larger for pants. The buttons were getting clipped for Pants - Extras.

7. When drafting a jacket after drafting a skirt, the default button placket width is that of the skirt, not the jacket. Same with all pattern types.

8. Revised all waistband article links to include:
a. No waistband case.
b. New pants and skirts waistband article.
c. Drawstring / elastic waist for dresses article.

9. Waistband article did not fit in its document window properly.

10. The change to smooth the fitted side seam from waist to ab caused odd shaped waist darts for users with back ab close to or greater than back hip width.

11. Default collar stand type changed in this build. That means that any older saved pattern (including pants and skirts) will now show that change in the Options Summary. For pants and skirts, this is now cleared.

12. Empire waisted princess bodice dresses would get a skirt with too narrow a waistline.

========== Beginning 1.04 - patch 8 changes (released on August 12, 2006) ======================================

1. Flared and A-line princess dresses had an undesirable curve in the princess seam between ab and hip.

2. Drop waist dress skirt outseams would bulge outwards if ab and hip were very close to each other.

3. Added the center back waist dart entry to the waist treatment dialog for elastic and drawstring waisted pants.

4. Gored skirts were not getting enough ease at hip.

5. Inserted pocket pattern pieces, when printed with a waistband, caused excess pages to print or were not displayable when printing.
