I have not used this much but I find that designing a garment is not as intuitive as in previous editions. How do I fid out hou to use this edition?

You can download the app from this page, install it and check it out. You can do a lot of things with the trial version, enough to see its features and functionalities. The only thing you won't be able to do is to print out patterns.
