I don't have any info for you re. Dress Shop users in South Florida, but I have a couple of suggestions: you should join the Dress Shop App and My Pattern Designer Facebook groups and ask on there. The Dress Shop App group is new so there are not many people in it yet, but the My Pattern Designer group may be helpful.

You may also want to check meetup.com for sewing groups local to you and come to one of their meet-ups. My local Austin sewing groups always have "sewing parties" where people get together to sew and to help each other with things that require a helper such as taking measurements and marking alterations etc.
