does anyone know how to desing in "pintucks" on a blouse? I am new to the program and Have tried but unsuccessful.

Depends on the pintuck design- how many and where they are placed.,.they usually take very little 'take up' room. I usually chalk around the piece to apply the pintucks to, and cut it out larger all the way around- do the pin tuckings, press , then cut the final piece out to the pattern and construct from there.

Before investing in a pin tuck garment make sure you have proofed the test fit torso garment.
