There has been a little noticed feature in My Pattern Designer since the last update that we hope will now become a lot more intersting. Under the Help menu, we added "Share My Pattern Online", which allows you to upload a pattern, description, and a photo of the results. We hope that everyone that has created something interesting, found something surprising, or figured out how to get more from the tools and settings will share that knowledge with others. Upload your triumphs and tell others what you did.

To see the results (all those nifty creations from your fellow MPD users), go to the My Pattern Designer home page and click on the "Share Patterns" button at the right. It will take you to the page that shows the uploaded pictures, descriptions, and patterns that others have posted. And, you can download their patterns with all of their settings and try them out yourself.

If you own the Unlimited Collection that included the base pattern used, you will own this revised design as well. If not, you can use a pattern credit to make it your own if you like.

In either case, do come by to see what others are making with My Pattern Designer. We hope you'll visit the "Share-A-Pattern" page often!

PS Pictures must be in JPG format (the best) or GIF or BMP and under 500k in size. You may need to use a paint program or photo editor to down-size your photos. The description should be under 1000 characters, including spaces. Microsoft Word has a counter in it (Tools - Word Count) that will display the character count as well.
