Guess I wrote to the wrong list. I have had trouble today trying to log onto Chat through quiltropolis. I tried forums.quiltropolis.com:80/~private and it seems quiltropolis has changed it's format. I tried to log into chat using 2 different names and passwords, to no avail. Please help.
I was finally able to make it to a class yesterday. I was late and it took me a while just to figure out the topic. Then Kaaren wrote "oh my gosh" and just seconds later our power went off! It stayed off for four hours, and I was convinced that there must be a west coast disaster of some sort. Of course, it was just a coincidence.
I've had some confusion trying to figure out how to get to the class, too. Maybe another set of directions would help??
You need to log into quiltropolis site and have Kaaren accept you for her classes,use a nick and email addy there to log with.Also Internet Explorer,next step is the web board opens on the left frame says DressHatshop click on that name 1st.On the left pane it says DSHat shop click there,once in there to enter class you'll be asked to accept Akiva click yes so you can get the visual drawings in her class.IF you don't accept Akiva you only get the text.Book mark the page too for log in.Then you may enter chat classes.
To become a member of club you need to apply for membership as it is restricted to DS and MPD owners.......not open to egneral public.( that is the ONLY requirement)
Class is open to any DS owner or MPD owner but you do NOT need to apply for membership........just find the class room and pop in.
