Up on the club website in the pants section.

Honestly, I've forgotten what the last C is, but the first two are definitely Career Casual. :-) I viewed this project as something I had to do before I could make something I actually wanted to make, but I like my new CCCs!

I used a drapey polyester fabric from my stash that was never going to see the light of day otherwise. It's pink. I love welt pockets, and decided to try them on these testers, before cutting into the expensive denim I've got in mind for jeans. The pocket lining (which shows thru the welt) and fly extension (which doesn't show) is a floral print.

I really won't wear a typical "career" pant, so I put in a drawstring hem, which can either be cinched up or just tied straight, and this makes them much more casual. Yes, I made sure the leg hung right first!!

The waistband is 2" wide, more than standard.

I LOVE the fit and cut. The pictures are pretty awful because of lighting, bad underwear choice, etc etc. But the fit is really good, even if the pictures don't show.

Very, very fun, and given how little thought I put into these, and that I banged them out in one day in between school pick-ups, laundry, and dinner, I think the potential for truly awesome pants is huge. Now I just have to decide what to make next.

And definitely, I need more bottom weight!

The fit is perfection! If this is what can be achieved with the new pant tool, then your photos are a great advertisement.

I am completely impressed with all the photo's. I was going to start a muslin for a pair of pants, but I see I have to upgrade and get the tool before I do.
