I had the fit pair of pants already printed out before the new upgrade - which I purchased both the upgrade and the pant designer.
I went ahead and sewed up the pants sloper. It was pretty good everywhere except that when I sat it pulled down 2 inches in the back. I had a very small amount of skirting and the back hip seemed a littl tight. So I made some adjustments, this time using the new version. With no changes except the zeroing of the crotch extentions, I got a huge hook in the front crotch. So I made some adjustments and the next pair weren't good either (I'm obviously going in the wrong direction). On both pairs, when I sewed in the crotch, I had to clip off a point. Can someone give me some advice on getting rid of the back seat pull down, and the crotch point. Is there a FAQ section as I'm sure these questions have been asked and answered several times.
Thank you

That is not a simple question with a simple answer.

It could be that you have a too short front length thats pulling on the back to get the seat room required

It could be that your f/w conformed and inseams create too short a rise or crotch depth.

It could be your back waist is just too loose and allowing the pants to slip.

A J hook in front or back crotch generally means the crotch length is too long for the rise.

It could be the front to back splits of waist/abd and hip are off.

Its a case by case "study". Not a quick fix answer.

send in a porblem report and I'll take a look-define the problem areas, and if at all possible photos from front back and side in jpeg format after the first look at the pants draft.

So how long do I wait for a response to the problem report? What exactly is the procedure? I put a report in on Sun and have had no response yet.

My apologies. At a closer look I got a reply from reports1 - just came through with display of Kaaren. I did respons. It just didn't sound like it addressed the problem, photos or the measurement file.
