I purchased the upgrade tonight. Received a code. Downloaded the program. Ran the install. MPD 2.5 Pro showed up after I activated my code. But after I close the program, next time it launches as the 1.1 (1.something) demo version. I uninstalled, reinstalled. Same thing. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

You do get to see it as 2.5 after installign and activating and then it fails? Is that correct.

It sounds like some files are misplaced as would happen with Vista when operating under a user account - but I dont beliueve you would see it as 2.5 ever- it just wouldnt work from the get go.

If you can please send a problem report from whatever version is showing when you open the program- help problem reports - we may be able to help you- but this user forum isnt the place to get this type of help from.I don't get any data0t his way and can ONLY from a problem report.

Thanks, Kaaren. I thought perhaps someone else had run into this (why I posted here). I will try to see if I can get a problem report through. This is the first time I've ever had an install problem with any of my DS or MPD products. I do run Vista but always have my user controls off. What appears to be happening is that the only .exe file that lands in the folder is one for the 1.0.0 version. Very weird considering I had MPD 2.0 already!
