Dear Kaaren,

While designing a pattern for a shortwaist dress, I clicked on "closure" to choose the type I wanted. A box popped up with the following message:

What does this mean? Why can't I choose a closure type for the dress? I reinstalled the program, and the problem didn't resolve.

I hope you can help me figure out what is going wrong. It doesn't happen in all patterns, but this is not the first time I've had the problem.

You should send in a problem report (Help menu - Submit A Problem Report) so we could tell which version of the Dress Shop or Doll Shop you were running, plus which pattern and which options. The error you describe does not occur with the latest version, looking at the Shirtwaist pattern. I could not find a Shortwaist, so I presume that was a typo. In any case, we need more information to know just what you are looking at.
